About Matiah Fischer, Founder
Matiah “Ty” Fischer is an entrepreneur whose strong work ethic and ambition has taken him on a journey to become an emerging force within the real estate industry.
Ty is the Founder of RetireBetterNow.com, an online real estate platform. Now the most extensive and in-depth destination for those looking to buy or sell a Las Vegas home, the platform is made up of a network of top-producing real estate agents with widespread knowledge of the surrounding areas. With the company’s office headquartered in Pasadena, California, Ty has plans to expand his business into new markets in the near future, including Palm Springs and Arizona.
Prior to diving headfirst into the real estate industry, Ty served as the Associate Publisher of Dreams Magazine, the premier luxury lifestyles magazine for affluent residents of the most prestigious Los Angeles and Las Vegas communities. Quickly working his way up the ranks, Ty’s innate ability to be a leader coupled with his keen business acumen allowed him to drastically change the direction of the magazine taking it from being just a local publication to one with a circulation recognized throughout Southern California and Las Vegas.
In the five years Ty was in the publishing business, he became an expert in many aspects of marketing, advertising and PR, while also learning the necessary skills of how to run a business and manage a staff. With Dreams being focused on showcasing the finest properties and palatial estates throughout Las Vegas and Los Angeles, his interest in real estate was piqued – thus leading him to launch his own real estate company.
Originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, Ty played football at University of Minnesota Duluth, where he met his partner, Natalie. Ty now resides in Los Angeles and in his free time, enjoys lifting weights and reading. He’s also involved in his local philanthropic community as he supports the GIVE – MENTOR – LOVE Foundation, a local non-profit supporting trafficked and disadvantaged youth.
